Project Description
Interspan were engaged on a supply and install basis for the post-tension works
Cottesloe, a picturesque coastal suburb in Perth, Western Australia, has always been renowned for its beautiful beaches and historical significance. Amidst this charming locale stands the Curtin Heritage Living 1BC project, a testament to preserving history while embracing innovation.
Undertaken by the renowned builder, Built, this residential aged care project demonstrates a unique blend of heritage preservation and modern construction techniques.
One of the distinctive aspects of this project was that the first stage of the building was already completed and operational. This required meticulous planning and coordination to minimize disruptions to ongoing activities and interactions with the public.
Interspan were engaged on a supply and install basis for the post-tension works by Built. The works required careful planning and execution due to the presence of a heritage building adjacent to the site.
The post-tension slab scope for Curtin Heritage Living 1BC spans almost 18,500 square meters from the ground floor to the roof (level 4) slabs.
With the superstructure works completed in April 2023, the project is working towards practical completion.
