Project Description
Conneely Constructions’ core goal is “finding a better way”, so it’s hardly surprising that the UK company engaged Interspan’s team to design 22,309m2 of post-tensioned slabs and beams for its latest project.
Conneely won the frame contract for a new office development in the Green Park business estate in Longwater Avenue, Reading – the park’s first substantial key scheme since it opened almost 20 years ago.
The project is Conneely’s first use of post-tensioning systems, and its choice to work with Interspan’s team reflects the company’s ethos of embracing the best available technologies in its projects. Interspan worked closely with the Conneely team to demonstrate how post-tensioning systems work.
The Green Park Estate project is for the design and construction of two five-storey Grade A buildings that will house large, flexible workspaces to create a modern work environment.
