The new building from the Mediterranean Institute for the University of Nice is an architecturally impressive design. Such a design required the flexibility that only post-tensioned concrete slabs can provide.

That’s why DYWIDAG-Interspan was commissioned to design and post-tension the slabs for the building, sited on a 4,500m² site in Nice, the capital of the magnificent Cote d’Azur.

All slabs were executed in architectural concrete and required PAN-stressing from the top in many locations.

DYWIDAG-Interspan’s flat slab post-tensioning system offered the client the greatest flexibility, enabling the architect’s vision to be realised while creating the best possible durability and strength.
