Interspan is proud to work with CPB Contractors and Consulting Engineer: SCP Consulting in the delivery of Nepean Hospital Stage 2, part of the NSW Government’s $1 billion Nepean Redevelopment. This major expansion is transforming care for the Penrith and Blue Mountains communities—bringing new health services, improved capacity, and a significantly enhanced hospital experience.
Stage 2 introduces a wide range of essential clinical and community health services, including a new Intensive Care Unit, in-centre renal dialysis, medical imaging and nuclear medicine, cardiology services, and comprehensive clinical support spaces. The redevelopment also features a new main hospital entry and front-of-house, creating a welcoming and accessible patient gateway befitting a modern health precinct.

Surelok shear connectors were installed for the temporary movement joints (TMJs), ensuring stability and long-term structural integrity.
