Project Description
Interspan designed and constructed a post-tensioned concrete frame structure that helped make the architect’s cantilever design a reality.
Queen Margaret Academy is a new school under construction in Scotland that will house more than 800 students over four storeys.
The £25 million (almost $44 million AU) project was delivered with PJ Careys for Kier Construction and provides an improved learning environment.
Interspan’s previous experience on projects for Scottish schools was invaluable in delivering the best possible outcome for the 7460m2 building.
